Sunday 22nd September 2019 - 1 - 4pm
Doynton Village Hall, BS30 5SY
An invitation to pause and gather one’s spirit and energy.
Re-treat for an afternoon of deep and mindful yoga, aligning with the drawing-in influence of the coming season. The time of the autumn equinox, where day and night are equal in length and the light and dark phases of the Earth are perfectly balanced, is a potent time to reflect on your achievements, to celebrate completions, and refine your intentions.
Combining the wisdom of traditional Chinese medicine with contemporary Hatha yoga, we will move with the breath through a slow, grounding yoga flow - weaving warmth and balance throughout the practice and preparing the body for the stillness of the more restorative postures. We will savor full deep breath to release tension and to soothe the nervous system, and end with a deliciously nourishing meditative practice of Yoga Nidra to induce full body relaxation and peace.
Leave feeling re-connected with your natural rhythms, warmed, balanced and ready for the arrival of autumn.
